The NFAS is committed to providing its online services to all sections of the public, in line with the current Disability Discrimination Act. One of our key objectives in designing this site has been to make it easily accessible to as many as people as possible.
We have ensured that all pages our validate against XHTML Transitional standard however, we do not take responsibility for any third party tools that we may use on the website.
Design:
The site has been designed using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for visual
layout. This means that if your browser does not support CSS, the contents
of the site is still visible. Relative font sizes have been used so that users
can alter text sizes to suit themselves. This website was developed and tested
satisfactorily using the Internet Explorer 6 and
Firefox 1.0.7.
Standards:
Coding:- The World Wide Web consortium (W3C) sets the standards
for websites. The XHTML and CSS used in this site comply with W3C standards.
Accessibility:- The bobby system ensures that websites are fully accessible to as many members of the community as possible; this website has been Bobby tested and achieves AA standard. The W3C Web Accessibility Initiative sets the standards required to make websites accessible to as many members of the community as possible; this site has been WAI tested and achieves AA standard.
